Recycling Waste Plastic
Recycling Waste Plastic
This is a business that transforms waste plastic from the market into raw materials for new products. It's an important initiative that balances environmental protection and effective resource utilization. Collected plastics go through processes such as sorting, cleaning, and grinding to be processed into reusable raw materials. These recycled materials are used in the manufacture of new plastic products, contributing to resource conservation and waste reduction. Through this circular process, we are working towards realizing a sustainable society.
Our strength and uniqueness
Our group's plastic recycling business is led by our group company, EcoPlas Hong Kong.
EcoPlas Hong Kong is an innovative joint venture aiming to provide sustainable solutions. We are leveraging Hong Kong's technology and manufacturing capabilities to tackle solid waste reduction. Through planned collaborations with government, NGOs, and effective business models, we are working to offer comprehensive sustainability solutions to industries.
Our strength lies in our vision to provide brand owners with end-to-end services, from recycling logistics to processing, supporting the realization of a circular economy. For 2024, we have set an ambitious goal to trade 1,550 tons of recycled plastics annually through multiple projects with key companies.
We are currently developing promising projects, including a plan to supply 160 tons of recycled PP resin annually for Takara Tomy's capsule toys and 50 tons of recycled PS resin for Hallmark's Christmas products. We're also in talks with Kerry Logistics to explore ways to reduce plastic waste in Hong Kong.
Furthermore, we're building a partnership with social enterprise V CYCLE to develop recycling programs with major brands like MUJI and IKEA, aiming to achieve both environmental protection and poverty alleviation.
EcoPlas Hong Kong's mission is to gather Hong Kong's wisdom to make a change. We are at the beginning of our journey, steadily working towards a more sustainable future.
